Top 5 must watch movies of 2018

2018 has been a great year for Indian cinema. we’ve got seen several movies of various genre and that we surprised. Several movies got discharged, some succeeded to impress audiences and a few unsuccessful it. Some movies were critically acclaimed and a few were a disaster. But, we tend to have to be compelled to watch types of cinema and came to understand that we are still in the race with alternative countries cinema. Our filmmakers are not any less gifted than others and that we incontestable. Consequently, we tend to designated 5 must watch movie every movie buffs must watch. Here’s a list.

1. Raazi

Premise: A girl from Kashmir gets married into the Pakistani family to get some important information about the terrorist group but things get difficult when her identity gets revealed to one of the members of the family.

Reason to watch: Raazi is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s 2008 novel Calling Sehmat. Meghna Gulzar’s previous work (Talvar) shows how talented she is in adapting stories from real to reel. Sehmat khan played by Alia Bhat is one of the best female protagonist characters we have seen in Indian cinema and we are looking forward to such work. Sehmat khan is an undercover agent and she brilliantly demonstrated the dilemma of a spy character. Ever wondered how does it feel to become a spy and how they are morally challenged in their life then you must watch this movie.

2. October

Premise: Dan is a hotel management trainee doing an internship in a hotel, one of his co-worker falls from the terrace and admitted in hospital and he takes care of her unconditionally and unconventionally.

Reason to watch: We have watched Vicky Donor, Madras café and Piku and we all loved it. So this is enough reason to watch October because we cant doubt on the work of Shoojit Sircar. Varun Dhawan played a second finest role in his life after Badlapur. October is a beautiful movie about human emotions, it leaves you with a feeling. This movie is like a fragrance of flower and believe me it works as a meditation.

3. Laila Majnu

Premise: Qais and Laila fall in love with each other and love unconditionally despite their family dispute, suddenly they get separated and Qais starts converting into Majnu.

Reason to watch: Imtiaz Ali name is enough to watch any of his romantic movies. We have heard and read lots about Laila and Majnu story and we must have seen this also in movies, plays etc. This is a must watch for the breathtaking scenery and best performances from the lead actor’s Avinash Tiwary and Tripti Dimri. I will not spoil the best part of the movie because when you watch it, you will find out by yourself and you will thanks me later.

4. Andhadhun

Premise: Akash, a piano player pretending to be blind without means to fall in a number of problems by witnessing the murder of a former film actor.

Reason to watch: Andhadhun is inspired by French short film, Olivier Triener’s L’accordeur (The Piano Tuner, 2010). This film is listed by imdb as the number one Indian film of 2018 and it ranks top on IMDB. Andhadhun is a well critically acclaimed movie and it knows for a mindblowing performance of all the actors specially Ayushman Khurana and tabu. Sriram Raghwan is very talented and authentic director working in Indian cinema and his previous work (ek haseena thi, johny gaddar, badlapur) proved it. This movie is a must watch because at the end of the movie you will get startled.

5. Tumbbad

Premise: A greedy man and his son face a demon while searching a hidden treasure of old centuries.

Reason to watch: This movie is for a big screen and fantastic cinematic experience. This is a first feature film of Rahi Anil Barve who proved how talented visually filmmaker he is. This movie praised by many critics and set an example but failed to perform on a box office. Tumbbad is unique in many ways and when you watch you will come to know.
